When we travel, we try never to eat at a fast food joint. In general I try never to eat at franchises since my stomach usually hates me for it. In Aspen Colorado we are lucky because the only fast food we have is Dominoes Pizza, McDonalds, and Ruth’s Chris. No temptation in Aspen to eat unhealthy.
I just came across this great website on about finding local food on the road. I haven’t tried it yet, since I am not traveling yet, but sounds pretty cool! They even list restaurants on backgrounds!
