This year’s Chili Pepper & Brew Fest went off without a hitch. It rained a bit on Friday but attendes found shelter in the most unusual places such as the tents covering the recycle center! Sunday was bright and sunny but wind gust started mini tornados that the drunk crowd cheered on as it took tents away. There were over 50 vendors of beer and no one ran out of beer! Thankfully! Some of the breweries that attended were Twisted from Boulder Colorado, Merchant duVin (importing brews from England, Scotland, Germany, Czech Republic, Belgium) and the first micro brew from Meixco to import to the USA, and Del Norte from Denver. There was even extra chili provided by restaurant vendors so you wouldn’t be disappointed when the contestants chili ran out.
Left Over Salmon played Friday night to a wet crowd who didn’t mind the on and off again rain. Saturday, Particle and Moe played to a buzzed crowed.
I can’t wait for the next Snowmass Chili Pepper & Brew Fest!
