The report is that things are taking a little longer than usual remodeling the 116 year old building. Lots o surprises in that one. But what may be another surprise to locals is that the Red Onion may not be reopening until the spring of 2009. Maybe. That will be close to 2 years that this famous bar has sat boarded up and empty.
