As most of you know the days are numbered at the Wienerstube Restaurant in Aspen. The property is soon to under go demolition to clear the space for the new Aspen Art Museum. The disappearance of an Aspen tradition of 45 years will be missed by many who have enjoyed great meals from traditional American breakfasts to lunch & dinners full of Austrian fair. In one sense the disappearance of the Wienerstube is also the disappearance of Austrian inspired mountain living captured in Ski Chalet style buildings, but more respectively in a lifestyle captured in the tradition of true apres ski.
The Wienerstube is currently open for breakfast, lunch & dinner, until it closes for good on Jan. 31st 2011.
