We had a food tasting at Bad Billy’s Restaurant and Bar<\/a><\/strong> in Aspen Colorado today to help launch Aspen TasteCasting. The day was one of those cool sunny, misty\/rainy days. We grabbed a table just inside of the patio. It was a great spot to sit that still gave away those great Aspen Mountain views.<\/p>\n

We were a small group of 5 and shared 7 different plates.<\/p>\n

Starting with the Deep Fried Pickles<\/strong>, which although\"Bad may sound strange to the uninitiated, get better every time you have one. A whole pickle is sliced in rounds, breaded, and dropped in the deep fryer. Server with a homemade ranch that seemed a little southwestern. $7<\/strong><\/p>\n

Next up was the Wedge Salad <\/strong>(iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, applewood smoked bacon, homemade blue cheese dressing) $9<\/p>\n

Noodle Bowl<\/p><\/div>\n

3rd was the Noodle Bowl with Red Curry<\/strong>, Tofu, Veggies, and wide rice noodles. $9.95<\/strong><\/p>\n
