While the prices are a bit steep, I’m rarely disappointed with what I order, and I always enjoy my interactions with the attentive and friendly employees. Both the lunch and breakfast scenes are impressive, but I consider myself a breakfast/brunch expert, so I will stick to what I know best.

While I’m typically a bagel-and-lox kinda gal, I switched up my order the last time I was at Peach’s and went with their signature dish, the “Open Face.” I was extremely pleased with my choice – although the Quinoa Breakfast Bowl had been equally tempting. The Open Face is beautifully plated dish, a little sweet and a little salty – everything a good breakfast should be. The dish, comprised of two poached eggs atop peach butter-slathered toasted bread and crispy bacon, is plated with a salad of heirloom tomatoes, arugula, Parmesan, and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. The trick to eating this delicious breakfast is to cut a bite that is a balanced ratio of all aspects. The juxtaposition of the sweet peach butter with the salty bacon is sheer brilliance. I prefer to save the salad for last, but to each his own!

I should also note that Peach’s sells one of my favorite cups of coffee in town. I’m not a coffee expert and therefore cannot tell you what makes it so good, but just trust me when I say Peach’s java is a palate pleaser. I also love their chai lattes, which come in sweet or spicy flavors. For a pick-me-up, try a “dirty chai”, a harmonious blend of the Indian spice and espresso.

Along with serving kitchen-prepared breakfast and lunch, Peach’s sources baked goods from various bakeries around town, including Midland Bakery, Louis Swiss Pastry, and Upper Crust Bakery. The glass case in the modern and cleanly decorated corner café boasts sizeable cupcakes and muffins (the espresso chocolate chip being one of my favorites), delectable chocolate truffles, buttery soft pretzels, and sinfully massive cinnamon buns. Perfect for a person on the go … who doesn’t have to worry about the calories.

It’s a testament to the quality of food and atmosphere, and the hard work of employees and proprietors Lisa Haisfield and David Roth, that Peach’s corner café is an Aspen social hub, its outdoor and indoor seating consistently filled with locals and visitors alike.

-Sydney M.

Sydney

Sydney, an 9-year resident of Aspen, CO, is currently attending Brown University where she is majoring in Brunch. Her status as a “lactard” frequently interferes with, but does not overcome, her unmatched love for froyo and grilled cheese. Sydney enjoys traveling, photography, eating, eating while traveling, and photographing what she eats. She is always available for a lunch date.

Visit Peach’s Corner Cafe

Read more reviews by Sydney

View all eatAspen eater reviews

While I’m typically a bagel-and-lox kinda gal, I switched up my order the last time I was at Peach’s and went with their signature dish…

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[5
418,440,460,533
post-6142","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-aspen-restaurants","tag-peachs-corner-cafe","tag-project-eatreviews","tag-reviews","tag-sydney","author-dmwkes","aspen-restaurants
["GET
