\"cafe-french-snow\"<\/a>The World Cup is around the corner. \u00a0That could mean many things to many people, but in Aspen it is when the Worlds fastest women descend onto the slopes and race in an FIS (Federation Internationale De Ski) sanctioned event. \u00a0In Europe this ski races are a huge spectator event. \u00a0In Aspen we do our best. \u00a0It is also during the world cup that Aspen Restaurants host International cuisines to celebrate the world community of ski racers that descend into this Alpine village. \u00a0Some of the restaurants that participate don’t really have to do much considering their menu already has an international flavor. \u00a0The french and Italian restaurants in Aspen just have to sign up. \u00a0We would like to see them offer something unique that is normally not found on their menu. \u00a0We really appreciate the Aspen Restaurants that reach deep into the cookbooks and pull out a cuisine that is not typically found on their menus. \u00a0They are going for the gold in the participation of a world class event and we will see you on the podium.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
