{"id":1407,"date":"2009-10-29T11:14:22","date_gmt":"2009-10-29T18:14:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.eataspen.com\/blog\/?p=1407"},"modified":"2009-10-29T11:14:22","modified_gmt":"2009-10-29T18:14:22","slug":"ellina-is-her-name","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eataspen.com\/blog\/ellina-is-her-name\/","title":{"rendered":"Ellina is her name."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Chef Dena Marino, formally of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eataspen.com\/fulllisting.php?row=142\" target=\"_self\">D19 <\/a>&amp; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eataspen.com\/fulllisting.php?row=164\" target=\"_self\">Ajax Tavern<\/a> fame, is opening a new Aspen restaurant named <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eataspen.com\/fulllisting.php?row=296\" target=\"_self\">Ellina<\/a>. \u00a0The name is short for Valtellina, a valley in the Lombardy region of northern Italy, bordering Switzerland. Today it is known for its skiing, its hot spring spas, its cheeses (in particular Bitto), its sausages (in particular Bersola) and its wines.
