BASALT, CO – November 29, 2016. – Since opening its doors in 2006, Tempranillo Restaurant (165 Midland Ave, Basalt, CO) is a name that has not only become synonymous as one of Basalt’s landmark restaurants in the revitalized historic Midland Hotel building, but has emphasized local ingredients and community since the beginning. This month, as the restaurant celebrates its 10 year anniversary, they will thank their customers for the years of support with an anniversary dinner on Thursday, December 1st, and Community Table specials all month.
“We are proud to look back at the last decade,” stated Javier Gonzalez-Bringas, owner and chef, “and are extremely grateful to this community for the support over the years. We have worked hard to maintain our commitment to community and to top quality locally sourced ingredients, as well as our favorites from Spain. When you come to our place, you are at home.”
On Thursday, December 1st, the community is welcome to join Tempranillo Restaurant for a special anniversary dinner. Reservations are kindly required.
ABOUT TEMPRANILLO: Internationally acclaimed chef Javier Gonzalez-Bringas, a Madrid native, combines an old-world style with a new-world flair in his signature cuisine. Upon coming to America in 1987, Javier blended his talents for Spanish cooking with inventive nouveau Italian cuisine at Manhattan’s Mezzaluna restaurant. Javier led the expansion of a new Mezzaluna in Aspen 25 years ago and has remained in the valley ever since. Javier is the long standing Spanish wine representative for Food and Wine magazine and has participated in the Aspen Food and Wine classic for 20 years. The name “Tempranillo” pays homage to one of Spain’s premier grape varieties, and true to its name, the restaurant features a selection of over 100 hand-chosen wines.
