Snowmass Village, CO (September 1, 2011) – There’s no better way to kick off the fall than German folk dancers and plenty of German beer. The free Oktoberfest festivities presented by Beck’s, will bring in some German flare to Snowmass Village on Saturday, September 10, from Noon to 5:00 p.m. The festival combines authentic German beer, music and cuisine, crisp fall air and fantastic mountain views. There will be a biergarten, street performers, face painting, clowns and more to toast the season with Teutonic cheer.
The biergarten will offer diverse German and American beers for sale from Noon to 4:30 p.m., while German fare is for sale by The Stew Pot and The Brothers’ Grille. Traditional Oktoberfest music will be provided by Alpine Echo and the children and family fun area will feature Jammin Jim.
