Renowned Chef and Restaurateur Brings New Nightlife Destination to Aspen Core
Aspen, CO—February 12, 2014— This March 2014, David Burke Group introduces the Huckleberry Hall, a lounge and nightlife destination in Aspen’s historic core. Huckleberry Hall complements Burke’s David Burke Kitchen, also slated to open in Aspen in March.
Open daily at 5pm, guests find a warm subterranean refuge with wood lattice walls, glass lantern pendant lights, spacious banquettes, and scenic high tables which create an industrial cool met with rustic warmth. Commemorating Colorado’s native huckleberries and Doc Holliday’s famous “I’ll be your huckleberry” quote, the venue will be warm and inviting, as well as a bit whimsical.
Huckleberry Hall offers signature cocktails handcrafted from house made juices, bitters, and syrups, with each drink featuring locally sourced spirits and ingredients when possible. The bar also offers a wide selection of craft brews and hand selected wines. Signature cocktails may include the Honey Badger with Spring 44 Honey Vodka, lemon, cinnamon & apple honey syrup, black pepper; the Rabbit Hunter made with Bulliet Bourbon, fresh mint, lime, and Fever Tree natural ginger beer, or the Tequila Mockingbird with Don Julio Blanco, St. Germain, grapefruit juice, basil syrup, Aperol, and sugared basil.
With a menu of small and share plates overseen by Executive Chef Matthew O’Neill, bites may include Chicken Dumplings with cowboy coffee bbq and tobacco onion rings and Fried Oysters with Brussels sprout fondue and spicy aioli, as well as charcuterie, cheese boards, and seasonal bites.
“Having spent time in Aspen many times over the past few years, I am always immediately drawn to the landscape every time I touch down,” says Chef and Owner David Burke. “The town is full of festivities, in such a beautiful setting which I am very excited to be a part of. It is sensational to open my very own upscale nightlife venue in such a setting. With great beverages, great snacks it will be the perfect place to hang with friends and for private events throughout the year as well.”

Entertainment at Huckleberry Hall varies depending on the evening, to include both live music and a DJ. Huckleberry Hall is also available for private events.
