It is great checking out the Aspen Times and the Aspen Daily News papers. I have never seen so many specials marketed towards locals during season. Normally I wait until the off season to dine out in Aspen, Colorado. Lately every restaurant is promoting a bar menu, or a special happy hour, or something to get me to eat out!
On the flip side, it does mean that Aspen Restaurants are hurting which is too bad. I love having the great selection of restaurants, but the Aspen prices kill me. How can I afford to eat out with the low income wage I earn? Maybe now I can treat myself to a couple more meals out.
One of the deals I have heard about it Zocalitos late night menu. After 9pm they have a great deal on their entrees. One customer raved about the food and the bill only came to around $40! Unheard of for 2 people eating out in Aspen! Zocalitos is on my list of places to go in the next month! 🙂
