I took a glimpse of the soon to be New Aspen Restaurant “Brexi” a few days ago and things are coming together. It is in a nice space at the SW End of Wagner Park in the Dancing Bear Complex at the corner of Monarch St. and Durant Ave. I can see its location being a hit during the Aspen Food&Wine Classic. They should be opening this Friday Feb. 6th or Sat. the 7th.
The concept is a traditional French Brasserie. Serving simple, hearty French food. We have yet to get a glimpse at the menu so thats all I can say. Brexi is a project of Craig and Samantha Cortds-Pierce, owners of LuLu Wilson and the Wild Fig who also helped D19 on to the scene a few years back. Check the Brexi listing or other Aspen Restaurants.
