The last day of resort skiing for Spring 2011 at Aspen/Snowmass is Sunday April 24. And it really could be a killer closing day because it’s still snowing as it has been consistently for the last week with fresh pow dump after dump leaving great skiing conditions. The eatAspen staff, graced by powder day rules, have had some of the best fresh powder turns of the year this past week and hence we would prefer it to keep dumping and end the season right. Where does a snowy day leave the infamous Aspen Highlands closing day party? Well with a lot of exhausted and content skiers & riders in a true apres ski mind set.
Although many may stumble into Out of Bounds for a beer we would suggest you also take a few more steps toward Highlands Pizza Company that will be hosting an 8 piece band, Aspen Brewing Company Beer on tap, and great vibes. Regardless, party on!
